The unexpected can happen in a flash and usually, we are completely unprepared. Shock, grief and trauma are difficult to deal with. Whether we are the ones affected by bad news, or we see others going through it, often we have no idea how to help, however much we desperately want to offer our support.
Sometimes just knowing someone is there to listen is the best support we can offer. Other times, people may need a bit more help.
In the below presentation, I outline a few key natural remedies that are great to have in an emergency kit to help bring calm, rational thought, and decrease the effects of stress on our bodies.
The last thing you need when you are going through a tough time is to get sick, which often happens as stress has a dampening effect on our immune system. Don’t forget to take good care of yourself, by eating well, getting enough rest, and most of all, be kind to yourself!
